The Associated Press is reporting that Allen Iverson has been sent
home by the Memphis Grizzlies. Iverson asked the team if he could leave,
due to a personal matter that has yet to be revealed at this time.

The Answer’s relationship with his new team has been sour from the start, barely into the season. Iverson complained about not starting, despite the impressive young line up featuring future All-Stars O.J. Mayo, Rudy Gay, and Marc Gasol. Hopefully the future Hall of Famer can get his life and career back on track by the year’s end.
